It is important to me to celebrate the diversity our people. I created different experiences for the students based on their age.

2nd Grade class

Students all chose a modern day influential Hispanic person to create research project on. We celebrated the day with presenting projects, food, music and dancing.

Preschool Setting

For Hispanic Heritage Month, I thought it would be a good idea to have all classes focus their learning on one specific country. They learned all about it and created a display for other students in the school to then see and learn from. The students made crafts, came up with dances and got cool artifacts.
