Teaching Philosophy

I believe that once we step foot into a classroom, we are ALL learners. As the teacher, my role is to learn to teach every single one of my students. Not just in a way that I want, but in whichever way they need me to teach. I am aware to the fact that we are all different and we learn differently as well. I aim to embrace those differences in my students. I want to ensure that my students are not only learning the academics but also the life skills which they will need to be successful  outside of my classroom. From communicating their needs in a positive manner, to problem solving, self control and so much more. I also know that it is important to acknowledge that the relationships I build with all my students matter. As a mom, I know the type of teacher I want my children to have, and I aim to be that to my student's parents as well.
